Hinduism has a GOD and it is a GODDESS (A Female).
- Hindus have made the cosmic energy a female gender as only a female can give birth to anything.
- Hinduism is a Natural Religion started by several intellectuals called RISHIs.
- A RISHI in Sanskrit means "A person who has attained immense knowledge through meditation and through direct relationship with the Cosmic Energy". The Goddess in Hinduism is the "Cosmic Energy".
- This cosmic energy is called "SHAKTHI" (Sanskrit word for Power or Energy).
- In Hinduism SHAKTHI is feminine and is also referred to as AADHI (First) SHAKTHI (POWER).
- AADHI SHAKTHI or "MA" (Meaning mother in Sanskrit) is regarded as MOTHER OF MOTHERS.
- So, how it is all related to "MA" or "MATHA" or "MATHRU".
- MOTHER word comes from Sanskrit word MATHRU.
- Isn't it surprising that "MA" is the first word that comes out of a newborn baby? This is because every newborn thanks the mother who gave birth to it and the Goddess "MA" or the divine mother directly or indirectly.
In the above picture you see one female (SHAKTHI) and Three males. Left to right sitting deities are Brahma (The Creator), Vishnu (The Sustainer), Shiva (The Re-creator).
WHAT IT ACTUALLY MEANS IS THAT:
The Shakthi can create, sustain, and re-create. All these three roles of Shakthi are given names and worshipped in Hinduism.
- Brahma - The creator
- Vishnu - The Sustainer
- Shiva - The Re-Creator
The three roles of "MA" or "MATHA" or "AMMA" are also worshipped by Hindus. Vishnu as sustainer has taken several avatars over time to protect life on earth. The avatars were:
- Matsya
- Koorma
- Varaha
- NaraSimha
- Vamana
- Parasurama
- Rama
- Krishna
- Budha
- Kalki (The 10th Avatar is a suspense and is still awaited).
As no hindu knows when Kalki will come, every saint or great man is regarded as Kalki. As such, hindus make them holy or worship them. This is the beauty of the religion.
So in Summary:
HINDUISM HAS ONLY ONE GOD - THE GODDESS
The Goddess is the cosmic energy which creates (Brahma), Sustains (Vishnu), and Re-Creates (Shiva)
