SHIVA (RE-CREATOR) and PARVATHI (SALVATION) as his Consort

Shiva is the RE-CREATOR.

  • Four Hands and Four Heads - Don't think he is extra-terrestrial.
  • It is a 3-D way of depicting the different things Shiva is made of.  The snake, the trident, the third eye are all representations of different features of this form denoting something that is related to after-life.
  • Same is the case with Parvati. You will see hundreds of descriptions and meanings on the net for Parvathi's hands and what she holds, but just think that all of them tell the greatness and control this Form of Shakti has.

Parvati is the Salvation Giver:

  • Why Parvati is consort of Shiva?
  • She is the hindu goddess of power, energy, nourishment, harmony, love, beauty, devotion, and motherhood.
  • Because, when a life is at its last stages of life, you need to think about the cosmic energy that created your life.
  • It is time to take time to visit temples, and wish for a painless and worry-free death.
  •  It is also time to pray to the Goddess to give a better next life.
  • That's why She accompanies Shiva the RE-CREATOR.

SHIVA LINGA:

Shiva Linga is representation of life itself.

ILife happens after unison of the male genital and the female genital. This is considered a holy moment and this starts life all over again.

Hindu Scriptures tell that there is no death to the soul that resides in the Physical Form that we take in this Janma (Life) and that it shall take a new physical form after this Physical Form ages and dies.  Because of this THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO FEAR OF DEATH FOR A HINDU.

HOW HINDUS WORSHIP THESE TWO FORMS OF SHAKTHI?

  • Hindus have several Mantras (Sanskrit Hyms that praise Shiva and Parvati).
  • You can search on Youtube for Shiva and Parvati, and you will not be disappointed.
  • These mantras are to praise the role of "Shakthi" as Shiva and Parvati.
  • Over time many other stories have come up just to bring importance of these roles to the general public.
  • If you see mention of kids for this divine couple, they are also manifestations or sub-roles created for the same GODDESS Shakthi.
